Psalm 62: 1-10

In God alone my soul rests;

From him comes my salvation.

2 He alone is my rock and my salvation;

He is my refuge, I will not be far off.

3 How long will you plot against a man,

All of you trying to crush him,

Like a wall that has fallen down, like a hedge that has been broken down?

4 They only consult to cast him down from his majesty.

They love lying;

They bless with their mouths, but they curse in their hearts. Selah

5 My soul, in God alone take refuge,

For my hope is from him.

6 He alone is my rock and my salvation.

He is my refuge, I will not be far off.

7 In God is my salvation and my glory;

In God is my strong rock and my refuge.

8 Wait for him at all times, O peoples;

Pour out your hearts before him;

God is our refuge. Selah

9 Surely the sons of men are vanity, and the sons of men are lies;

Weighing them all equally in the balance,

They will be less than nothing.

10 Do not trust in violence,

Nor in plunder; do not be proud;

If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
